AC Milan chief exec Giorgio Furlani has enjoyed his first months in charge.
Furlani replaced Ivan Gazidis in November.
He told CBS: “It’s very special, I’m really lucky. I’ve been a Milanista all my life. Not many fans get fortunate to run the club they support. Number 1, I’m lucky. Number 2, it’s an honour. Number 3, it’s a big responsibility. I need to keep the club healthy and future-proof it, all I am is a caretaker for the fans.
“I genuinely care, first of all. This is really special for me. Given my background, I care but I also feel a sense of responsibility.
“Hopefully, I can marry the two and make sure we do well, winning in a sustainable way.”
