Adam Lallana has reportedly given Jurgen Klopp strong reviews on Alexis Mac Allister, who Liverpool are believed to be keen on signing this summer.
According to Goal, the former Anfield playmaker has given the German manager ‘glowing feedback’ on the Argentine international, who as per the report is a top transfer target for Liverpool as the Reds look to bring Mac Allister to Merseyside this summer.
Valued at £70m, the 24-year-old has been one of the best players in the Premier League this season, and Mac Allister now looks set to take his career to the next level with a move to Liverpool, who are keen to sign at least three midfielders in the window.
And Lallana giving Klopp encouraging comments on the midfielder’s character and habits in training will only add more fuel for Liverpool in their chase to bring the Brighton & Hove Albion star to Anfield, who could be a star for the Premier League giants next season.
Indeed, Lallana remains a respected figure on Merseyside, and Klopp knows he can trust his former midfielder’s judgement on a top target like Mac Allister, who could soon find himself signing for Liverpool based on the 35-year-old’s feedback.
Liverpool have to wrap up Mac Allister deal ASAP
Klopp getting recommendations from former players could be enough to indicate that a deal is in the works for a transfer target, and in the case of Mac Allister, Liverpool have to get the Argentine over the line as quickly as possible this summer.
