Chelsea star Pulisic to snub Saudi offer and join Euro club instead

Christian Pulisic is keen to stay in Europe as he closes in on a Chelsea exit this summer, sources have told Football Insider.
A well-placed source has told Football Insider that Saudi Arabian clubs are ready to hand the 24-year-old a way out of Stamford Bridge this summer.
Pulisic hasn’t been happy at Chelsea in recent months – but would like to remain in Europe if he is to move on, and there is interest on the continent in the United States international.
The winger is a prime candidate to leave Stamford Bridge in the off-season as Chelsea look to clear the decks and reduce their wage bill.
Pulisic has one year left to run on his Blues contract, which nets him a reported wage of £150,000-a-week.
He had a limited impact for Chelsea in the 2022-23 campaign, notching one goal and two assists in 30 appearances across all competitions.
Just 10 of those outings came as part of the starting lineup – with Pulisic failing to impress Thomas Tuchel, Graham Potter or Frank Lampard across the course of the season.
He joined Chelsea as a 20-year-old from Borussia Dortmund for a reported fee of £57.6million.
The 57-cap American has managed 26 goals and 21 assists in 145 total appearances for the Blues, winning a Champions League title in 2021.
Pulisic is not the only Chelsea star being targeted by ambitious Saudi Pro League clubs.
According to Sky Sports (19 June), N’Golo Kante, Edouard Mendy, Kalidou Koulibaly and Hakim Ziyech are all primed to sign for Saudi clubs this summer.
