Club set asking price of just £2.6m over exciting Wolves striker target

Reported Wolves target Adama Bojang is reportedly valued at £2.6 million.

It was reported last night by the Evening Standard that the Gambian youngster is attracting a lot of attention now that the summer window has opened.

Bojang has really caught the eye at the recent U20 World Cup in Argentina.

He helped Gambia reach the round of 16, and he scored two goals in the nation’s first game against Honduras.

Wolves are thought to hold an interest in the starlet.

But there has also been mention of Chelsea, Crystal Palace, Liverpool and Tottenham Hotspur.

The interest does not stop at just English clubs, with RC Lens, Eintracht Frankfurt and RB Leipzig all keen.

This is something that could really appeal to Wolves.

Wanderers are known to be having some financial difficulties right now, so bargain signings will be on the agenda this summer.

£2.6 million would be easily affordable for Wolves, but the competition for Bojang’s signature is obviously fierce.

It’s possible that the asking price will rise if a bidding war breaks out.

Wolves could now make Adama Bojang move this summer as asking price is revealed

That Bojang is valued at just £2.6 million is kind of surprising.

Perhaps setting such a low asking price is designed to get many clubs willing to pay it, so that a bidding way actually does break out and Steve Biko FC end up getting more money for him.

It will be interesting to see if Wanderers get involved.

We have heard already this summer that the club are looking to bring in young, hungry players.

It was claimed last week that Wolves want to bring in more Joao Gomes-type players, who are unpolished gems.

Bojang is still only 19 and would obviously be coming from the Gambian league, meaning he probably would not see first-team football right away.

But who knows, because it seems Fabio Silva is ready to leave the club this summer.

And if that happened, perhaps there would then be room for a young striker like Bojang.
