Clubs already interested in £15m ace, but Wolves’ stance is firm

Joao Gomes is reportedly attracting attention from other clubs – but Wolves do not want to lose the midfielder.
The Brazilian has only been at Molineux since January, when he signed from Flamengo for around £15 million.
The South American has already established himself as a very popular figure at Molineux for the role he played in his own transfer.
And in the handful of appearances he’s made for Wolves, he has impressed.
As a result of his early performances at Wolves, other clubs have apparently been expressing an interest in him ahead of the summer.
But Wolves aren’t about to entertain any interest.
Joao Gomes a target for other clubs already after great start at Wolves
According to Bolavip, there has been some interest in Gomes from other clubs.
Teams in Italy are thought to be keen.
But Wolves fans don’t have to worry, as it is stated that the club don’t want to lose him.
In fact, Wolves are planning to get Gomes much more involved next season. It has been decided internally that Gomes will be getting more minutes in 2023/24.
This, in theory, will be easier because Ruben Neves is leaving to join Al Hilal.
The shock move will net Wolves around £47 million, and with Joao Moutinho having also gone, Gomes stands to become a regular.
Joao Gomes should now be starting every game for Wolves
It’s no surprise other clubs like Gomes. He is a fantastic young player who could very well become a top star in the game.
Bolavip have said there has been speculation about Gomes being loaned out this summer.
But the idea of that is just ridiculous.
Gomes has clearly shown he’s ready for Premier League football, and the club is really excited about him.
Julen Lopetegui should be using him and Mario Lemina together in midfield from the off. The pair were superb together when Neves was suspended for those two games against Chelsea and Brentford.
