Crystal Palace goalkeeper Jack Butland is reportedly wanted back by Manchester United this summer. The former Birmingham City man was given the green light to join the Red Devils on loan in the January transfer window and is due to return to Selhurst Park when his loan expires.

According to a report by The Sun, Erik ten Hag’s side are ‘ready’ to try and sign him on a permanent basis. Rangers are also keen on the stopper who is out of contract at the end of June.

Crystal Palace already have Vicente Guaita and Sam Johnstone as their goalkeeping options. Youngster Joe Whitworth has also been part of the first-team picture this season.

In other news, Arsenal loan man Albert Sambi-Lokonga has emerged on the radar of newly promoted Burnley. The Clarets are ‘eyeing’ a swoop for the Belgium international, as per The Sun, as they prepare for life back in the Premier League.

He moved to Selhurst Park on a temporary basis during this past winter after seeing his game time at the Emirates Stadium dry up. He has since made nine appearances in all competitions for the Eagles and hasn’t been able to make much of an impact.

In terms of incomings, Crystal Palace are being linked with a move for Galatasaray right wing-back Sasch Boey. Fotomac claim they are ‘expected’ to make an ‘official bid’ for the 22-year-old along with Arsenal and Wolfsburg.

Boey, who is a former France youth international, may be seen as an alternative option to Manchester United’s Aaron Wan-Bissaka. He has played for his current club since 2021 having previously been on the books at Rennes.

Roy Hodgson’s side are back in action this weekend against Fulham away. They then finish the campaign with a home clash against Nottingham Forest.
