Everton chief Thelwell announces Davies departure

Tom Davies is leaving hometown club Everton this summer.
The midfielder, 24, has been with the club for over 12 years.
Everton chief Kevin Thelwell confirmed: “We respect his decision and thank him for his service and commitment.
“We offered Tom a new contract but he feels he has reached the stage in his career where he needs regular first-team football and, as a result, he wants to look at alternative options.”
Serie A Monza have been linked with Davies this week.
