Manchester United transfer news: PSG wonderkid eyed as pundit urges move for ‘Dennis Bergkamp’ like striker

Manchester United transfer news featuring El Chadaille Bitshiabu and Ivan Toney.
Manchester United keen on El Chadaille Bitshiabu
According to French outlet Le10Sport, Manchester United are keen on a move for Paris Saint-Germain prospect El Chadaille Bitshiabu.
Bitshiabu, 17, recently changed agents and is represented by Jorge Mendes. So a link to United feels like a rite of passage.
The teenager turns 18 later this month, meaning United can make an approach. His contract at PSG expires in June 2024.
Bitshiabu is a centre-back who has made 10 first team appearances for PSG this season, including 45 minutes in the Champions League.
United’s interest is said to be ‘strong’, with clubs in Germany also interested. PSG are set to sign Milan Skriniar in the summer, a move which could block Bitshiabu’s prospects at PSG, Le10Sport report.

Manchester United urged to sign Ivan Toney
Manchester United have been urged to consider a move for Brentford striker Ivan Toney, who is enjoying a strong season.
Tony Cascarino told The Times: “He has a finesse which, dare I say it, echoes that of Dennis Bergkamp.
“Toney’s subtlety complements his stature and finishing. Liverpool, Chelsea, Arsenal and Manchester United should all consider a move.”
Toney has scored 21 goals in 35 games this season for Brentford and recently earned a call-up to the England squad.
He would be a far more affordable option than Harry Kane or Victor Osimhen, at less than half the price.
The big problem concerning Toney is the ‘lengthy ban’ he could face after admitting breaching FA betting rules, The Guardian report.
