Marco Silva breaks silence as report claims he’s in line to replace Moyes as West Ham boss

Marco Silva has broken his silence after a report claimed he’s in line to replace David Moyes as West Ham United manager.

West Ham manager David Moyes is under intense pressure after a really underwhelming campaign at the London Stadium, whilst Marco Silva has performed really well in his role as Fulham manager.

It will be incredibly hard for the West Ham owners to sack Moyes, especially if we win the Europa Conference League this season.

It has been claimed that if the Scot doesn’t guide us to European success, he will be shown the door at the London Stadium.

And Siva really would be an exceptional replacement for Moyes as far as I’m concerned…

The Fulham boss was speaking to reporters yesterday ahead of his side’s clash with Fulham this weekend.

“It’s a moment of the season when everyone is going to talk about managers, about players, about everything. There are rumours around everything. When you do a good season of course, it’s a consequence of the performance, the way the team is playing. It’s a normal situation. If there’s something new, we’re going to announce it.”

If the Hammers owners bring Silva to the London Stadium in the summer, I will be absolutely delighted.

The Portuguese manager is exactly what we need to help us make the jump up to the next level over the course of the next few years.

The football that his Fulham side have been playing this season really has been truly spectacular.

The former Everton boss likes to implement a high tempo, high press, possession based playing style. In other words – the polar opposite to David Moyes’s philosophy!

Marco Silva could definitely replace David Moyes at West Ham this summer. And I think it would be a fantastic move from the club.
