Jorginho committed to Arsenal amidst Lazio interest

Italian international and Arsenal midfielder Jorginho has affirmed his commitment to the club, despite attracting interest from Serie A side Lazio.

The former Chelsea player has been at the heart of transfer speculation recently, but it appears he’s staying put.

Jorginho moved to Arsenal in January, in what was a surprise switch from Chelsea.

His impressive performances have caught the eye of several Italian clubs, including Napoli and AC Milan, but the midfielder seems focused on his Arsenal career.

The Gunners are keen to bring in West Ham’s Declan Rice, while Thomas Partey may be heading to Saudi Arabia and Granit Xhaka is expected to join Bayer Leverkusen.

Jorginho has already made 16 appearances for Arsenal and managed to establish himself ahead of Thomas Partey in the pecking order towards the end of last season.

Prior to his time in English football with Chelsea, Jorginho played in Italy for Hellas Verona and Napoli. But now, with two years remaining on his current contract at Arsenal, the Italy international seems eager to continue his journey in English football.
