Newcastle cited as ideal transfer for Man United star

Scott Mctominay has been told to choose Newcastle ahead of Everton as his next destination.
Speaking exclusively to Football Insider, former Aston Villa defender Alan Hutton has urged McTominay to join Newcastle ahead of due to the exciting prospect of Champions League football.
Football Insider revealed last month (26 May) that McTominay, 26, has told friends he wants to leave Old Trafford this summer for the good of his career.
It is believed the Red Devils are ready to listen to offers for the Scotland international following his limited involvement in the 2022-23 campaign.
Everton have been widely linked with McTominay aswell as fellow Premier League sides West Ham and Newcastle.
With a potential transfer on the cards, Hutton believes that the Magpies would be the best choice for the Scotland international.
“Newcastle play in the Champions League, they tick all of the boxes,” He told football insider.
“I think Newcastle are more appealing, Everton are still a big football club, but at this moment of time the Magpies just edge it.
“Of course Everton are moving into a new stadium which is brilliant, but they do have issues aswell, and they need goalscorer instead of a midfielder.
“Dominic Calvert-Lewin’s injuries and being unable to replace them was where they really in the relegation scrap.”
“With the amount of recruiting needed at Everton, Newcastle would be the better choice for McTominay.”
