Next Tottenham manager odds: The latest favourites to replace Antonio Conte

Antonio Conte was finally sacked by Spurs after basically begging to be put out of his misery by chairman Daniel Levy following a post-match press conference which saw him slag off the players, the club and their history as a whole.
He’d also previously he’d blamed the fans for Tottenham’s Champions League exit against AC Milan. Some way to burn your bridges that, Antonio.
Cristian Stellini stepped up to replace Conte, however, it hasn’t gone to plan and their latest outing saw them get hammered 6-1 at Newcastle.
So, with the Italian gone we’re looking at some of the favourites to be the Tottenham Manager for first game of the 2023/24 season.
And for those who are revelling in Tottenham’s misery, we’ve also got a special Tottenham in Crisis market. Fancy Harry Kane & Son Heung-Min both to leave? Reckon Daniel Levy quits? Don’t worry, we’ve got you covered.
Julian Nagelsmann
German boss Julian Nagelsmann was, perhaps a little surprisingly, given the boot by Bayern Munich recently with former Chelsea manager and a man who featured highly on this list, Thomas Tuchel, replacing him.
Nagelsmann could be a good fit in terms of the style the Spurs fans want to see and we’d be all for it, for no reason more than we’d get to see his mad touchline threads every weekend. They may face some stiff competition from Chelsea for his signature, though.
Vincent Kompany
Vincent Kompany has done a brilliant job at Burnley and the former Manchester City defender guided the Clarets back to the Premier League.
Kompany’s stock is high and he’s seen as a potential Pep Guardiola successor at City but could Tottenham persuade him to head to north London?
Brendan Rodgers
Brendan Rodgers is available after leaving Leicester by mutual consent following four years with the Foxes. Although it wasn’t going great by the end of his time at the club, his stock is still high and he will likely get another Premier League job. Could Levy see the former Liverpool and Celtic manager as the right man for the job?
Luis Enrique
Former Barcelona and Spain manager Luis Enrique may just be tempted to return to management by taking a big name team in the Premier League. The players on Spurs’ books would suit his style of play too.
Enrique won two La Liga titles with Barcelona, one Champions League and a Club World Cup and guided Spain to a runner-up place in the 2020-21 Nations League. His sides play lovely football on the eye, although they can sometimes over-pass the ball when in possession. His experience might be exactly what this group of players need.
Graham Potter
Things may not have worked out at Chelsea, but that hasn’t stopped Spurs before. Andre Villas-Boas joined the club after failing at Chelsea, and they’ve also had Jose Mourinho in the dugout too.
Potter may be a better fit for Tottenham than he ever was at Chelsea, too. He’s still got plenty of credit in the bank after the impressive job he did at Brighton, and the Blues’ London rivals could end up landing him for nothing, rather than the £20m forked out for him earlier this season.
Mauricio Pochettino
Mauricio Pochettino, who has been out of work since leaving PSG, is always linked with a return to Tottenham and his price to rejoin his old employers has been toing and froing of late. The Argentine is adored by most Spurs fans and many would love to have him back in north London. His style of play is easy on the eye and he’s also got a great relationship with star men Harry Kane and Son Heung-Min.
Some are put off by the old adage of ‘never going back’ but he’s probably the best fit for the players on the books at Spurs and with a French league title to his name now he might have the experience to push on this squad. A reunion could be on the cards. However, they face competition from Chelsea.
Arne Slot
Feyenoord boss Arne Slot has been linked with a move to Spurs and he plays an attacking style of football that’s easy on the eye. However, is he the big name that Tottenham fans crave?
Thomas Frank
Thomas Frank has done a brilliant job at Brentford, with the Bees pushing to finish in the top six this season. Frank was linked with a move to Aston Villa before they appointed Unai Emery, however, the Dane ended up signing a new long-term contract with Brentford. While Frank is flying at Brentford, the allure of a bigger club like Tottenham could be an opportunity he can’t turn down.
Roberto De Zerbi
Roberto De Zerbi falls into a similar category as Frank, with the Italian doing excellent work at Brighton. The Seagulls are genuine top-six contenders and they could even push for the top four if their form holds up. However, Brighton are well aware after Graham Potter that they struggle to keep managers and players if a big offer comes in.
