FORM GUIDE

The Reds go into Sunday’s game looking to bounce back from last weekend’s narrow defeat to Chelsea, in the FA Cup final at Wembley. Sam Kerr’s solitary strike was the difference maker, as it has been many times before, to prevent Skinner’s players a first major trophy. In the WSL, though, our form has been formidable – especially at home. We’re unbeaten in the league since the beginning of March, winning five in a row including a key 1-0 victory over Arsenal, and an exhilarating 3-2 win away to Aston Villa.

Sunday’s visitors are looking to get back to winning ways themselves, having been beaten by Liverpool in their last league clash. City have won three of their last five, but their most recent loss – a defeat to Arsenal at the start of April – derailed their hopes of qualifying for next season’s Champions League. That said, imaximum points in their final two fixtures could enable them to snatch a top-three spot, despite their inferior goal difference, if other results elsewhere in the league go their way.
