Shaun Wright-Phillips hailed the performance of Chelsea 23-year-old yesterday

Shaun Wright-Phillips picked out Chelsea defender Trevoh Chalobah for special praise after yesterday’s 2-2 draw against Nottingham Forest.
Chelsea and Forest played out an entertaining Premier League draw at Stamford Bridge, which helps out the visitors in their quest to avoid relegation this season.
In-form Forest striker Taiwo Awoniyi scored both of his team’s goals on Saturday afternoon. Similarly, Blues attacker Raheem Sterling netted twice for the hosts.
There’s now just three games left for Frank Lampard to navigate his way through as Chelsea’s caretaker boss. Next, his team travels to league leaders Manchester City in a week’s time.

Former Chelsea star Wright-Phillips, who was working as a BBC pundit over the weekend, hailed Trevoh Chalobah after his display against Forest.
The 23-year-old started and impressed in the right-back position yesterday.
“I thought Chalobah in the second half was superb, running in behind and causing a lot of problems,” Wright-Phillips told Match of the Day.
Wright-Phillips also commented on a two-goal performance from Sterling. He told Match of the Day: “I thought Raheem, once he got rid of playing with his back to goal, was a threat as well in the second half.”

It’ll be interesting to see if Chalobah can be an important player moving into year.
The Englishman has made 31 first-team appearances across all competitions this season, proving he’s a dependable option across several defensive positions.
We wonder what Mauricio Pochettino makes of the club’s academy graduate.
Journalist Fabrizio Romano claimed on Twitter last night that Chelsea are set to appoint Pochettino as their new manager and a “full agreement” is now in place.
