Wilfried Zaha out for the season as Crystal Palace

Crystal Palace winger Wilfried Zaha will miss the rest of the season through a hamstring injury and might have played his last game for the club, according to the Daily Mail.
The Ivory Coast international will miss the final games against Fulham and Nottingham Forest. He picked up the issue during Palace’s weekend fixture against AFC Bournemouth.
Palace defeated the Cherries through a double from prospective England international Eberechi Eze.
However, it was not all good tidings for Palace as Zaha went down in the 51st minute. He had to come off the pitch.
Crystal Palace manager Roy Hodgson said the injury was concerning, but they had to wait for the scans. The results have revealed that he will miss the rest of the campaign.
Also, Zaha is in the final seven weeks of his contract with Palace and can walk away for free this summer.
The 30-year-old has offers from around and outside Europe but will take his time to decide on the next step for his career.
Zaha could even continue at Palace as he has built a strong relationship with chairman Steve Parish. He has not ruled at continuing his legendary journey at the club.
Palace have offered him a 200k-a-week deal to stay, but he remains keen on looking over his options.
Zaha has been Palace’s talisman over the years and is arguably the greatest player in the club’s history.
They will be keen to keep him around for some years but will understand if he decides to move on after over 450 appearances across two spells at the South London club.
Although, Palace already have a ready-made replacement for Zaha in Eze. The 24-year-old has been impressive since Hodgson arrived.
Eze has netted six goals in his last seven games and has put himself in contention for an England call-up.
The English FA wants fresh blood and has Eze on their radar with extensive scout reports.
However, Nigeria could complicate things for England. They are trying to convince Eze to play for the Super Eagles.
