WOU’s Jacob Maiben named to ABCA West Region All-Defensive Team – Western Oregon University Athletics

MONMOUTH, Ore. — Western Oregon center fielder Jacob Maiben was named to the American Baseball Coaches Association NCAA Division II West Region All-Defensive Team on Thursday.

Maiben, a senior, was the only representative from the GNAC after playing a stand-out center field for the GNAC-champion Wolves – not making an error in 110 chances while adding three assists.

Overall during his five-year career he made just one error in 363 chances (174 games).

It adds to the honors for Maiben in his seniors season as he was named NCBWA All-West Region Honorable Mention along with being named All-GNAC First Team.
